Your Health and wellbeing

International and European students

We’re the top choice for students from almost 50 countries worldwide and our international community is still growing. We’re nestled in the heart of the most spectacular county and close to major cities and transport links. A dedicated International team Our International team will support you on your Hartpury journey, from application right through to the completion of your course. Before you arrive, they’ll help you to book student accommodation, understand student finance, find out about the local area, and more. They will even pick you up at Heathrow, Gatwick or Birmingham airports so you can enjoy your journey here, and they'll help with everything you need to settle in. We hold an ‘A’ rating Tier 4 sponsor license from UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) service, which means we can assess your visa documents to ensure you have everything you need to get your visa first time round. International welcome event and International Society We host a welcome event especially for international students. You’ll meet lots of other students from across the world and learn more about living and learning in the UK. You’ll also find out about our International Society, run by students as part of our Students’ Union. The society will help you enjoy everything the UK offers, through field trips and social events.

We’re committed to ensuring you’re able to enjoy all that Hartpury has to offer. Our Student Wellbeing team is on-hand to provide friendly advice and guidance when you need it most. We have qualified counsellors, nurses and wellbeing officers on site, as well as our chaplain who can offer a reassuring ear to those of all faiths. Our annual Wellfest event Wellfest in Freshers' Week is not to be missed. With everything you need all in one place, you'll pick up lots of tips, make new friends and get to chat to our support staff too. With demonstrations from public service and community teams, it addresses a range of issues including road safety, wellbeing and mental health. Wellbeing Wednesdays Wednesdays are dedicated to student wellbeing. We run a range of events throughout the year with a different theme each month. From stress-busting walks to mindfulness and yoga, our activities will help you to boost your health and wellbeing while you're here.

Study support Small class sizes mean we can get to know you as an individual and provide a support network to suit your needs. We'll give you expert advice and guidance on careers and help you be the best you can be in your studies. Achievement and Success Centre (ASC) team can make a big difference. From one-to-one support on time management, to group workshops and online resources on academic writing, the team can offer expert advice on study topics to suit you. Learning and disability support If you have a specific learning difficulty, such as dyslexia or dyspraxia, a physical or sensory impairment, medical or developmental condition, we can support you through your time with us. In fact, our experts will be on-hand before you start to ensure you have everything you need from day one. Achievement and Success Centre When it comes to your grades, our

Gloucestershire and the surrounding Cotwolds area are top tourist hot-spots, drawing crowds from across the world. From the Gold Cup horseracing festival and The Sunday Times Literature Festival, to architectural gems such as Gloucester Cathedral (the backdrop for Harry Potter), activities in Gloucestershire attract people from all over the globe
