Professional short courses As a Hartpury agriculture student, you’ll be eligible for a short course bursary. This means you can undertake professional qualifications in areas such as tractor driving and safe pesticide use to enhance your CV.

Benefit from your own 360-hectare classroom, gaining hands-on experience on our commercial farm and industry experience during every year of your degree through work placement opportunities. Our new Agri-Tech centre will give you access to the latest smart farming technologies and industry challenges. You could contribute to key business decisions to help increase productivity or undertake applied agricultural research to help drive the industry forward.

You’ll graduate with a strong professional portfolio, new ideas and the industry skills that employers are looking for. Our graduates work for big agricultural brands, take new enterprises back to their home farms and set up brand new businesses of their own. You could study a semester of your degree in the USA or Canada to gain an international perspective on the agricultural sector.
