Station: Adult / Child Compressions Objectives: Properly demonstrate chest compressions on an adult or child Instructions: Have 2 students (one on each side) of a manikin with a BVM Precautions: Keep the students doing at least 5 sets of compressions – the goal is to build muscle- memory. Run these drills: - 5 sets of just compressions (adult) - 5 sets of just compressions (child) - 10 breaths with pocket mask - 5 cycles CPR(30:2) 1 rescuer (adult) pocket mask - 5 cycles of CPR (30:2) 2 rescuer (adult) BVM

Station: Infant Compressions Objectives: Properly demonstrate chest compressions on an infant Instructions: Have 2 students (one on each side) of a manikin with a BVM Precautions: Keep the students doing at least 5 sets of compressions – the goal is to build muscle- memory. Run these drills: - 5 sets of just compressions (Infant) - 10 breaths with pocket mask - 5 cycles CPR(30:2) 1 rescuer (Infant) pocket mask - 5 cycles of CPR (15:2) 2 rescuer (Infant) BVM

Station: Bleeding Control and Tourniquet Use Objectives: Properly demonstrate bleeding control and shock management Instructions: Have students work in groups of 3 persons performing the procedures below. One person should be the patient; the others rescuers. Precautions: The student needs to be proficient with the steps of the bleeding control skills sheet including oxygen, shock management, direct pressure, and tourniquet use. This station is their only preparation before they test these skills. Although the are not technically complex, students must be confident in the use of the CAT tourniquet in their Cohort Bags in order to succeed in their testing station. Run these skills using the Bleeding Control Skills Sheet: - Direct Pressure

- High flow oxygen administration - Supine position with a blanket - CAT tourniquet application
