Final Practice Day

National EMS Education Standard Competencies

This session is geared towards providing students with the opportunity to practice psychomotor skills in which they self-assess as weak, and for drilling the skills they will be tested on as part of their final exiting evaluation.

If students do not present with any specific skills they wish to practice, spend all time drilling students on:

Medical Management Trauma Management Airway Management

Use the skills sheets for the final exam, but give them the practice scenarios as opposed to the testing scenarios.

Students should be encouraged to take blood pressures and heart rates on each other and on the mechanical blood pressure arm if they would like to practice these skills
