Matt Bedinghaus, P.E. was installed as President of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers during the society’s Annual Banquet on Monday, June 13, 2016 as part of the 79 th Annual Convention held at The Lodge at Old Kinderhook in Camdenton, Missouri. NSPE President-Elect Kodi Jean Verhalen, P.E., Esq., conducted in installation ceremony where President-Elect Ron Black, P.E., Vice President Michael Purol, P.E., Treasurer Bob Becnel, P.E., Immediate Past President Breck Washam, P.E., took the officers oath alongwithBoard of Director Representatives Kelsie Clark, P.E. and John Riediger, P.E. plus Young Engineer representative Eric Strack, P.E. Bedinghaus is Owner/CEO & Chief Eng ineer of A2V Partners LLC in Springfield. He holds a BSEE from MS&T

engineer, 17 of which were with St. Joseph Power & Light Company. A member of MSPE since 1985, he was Northwest Chapter’s President, Board Member, MATHCOUNTS Chair and Young Engineer of the Year. At Ozark Chapter, he has served as Program Chair and Chapter Board Member. Du r i n g h i s p r e s i d e n c y, Bed i nghau s ’ focu s i s on growing membership through member participation, finding opportunities to strengthen chapters through best practices, encouraging participation on state committees, as well as challenging members to lend their voice, experience and judgment to the tasks ahead.
