 Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit

Dining Hall

We need to know if you are currently entitled to them even if you choose not to claim them, or if you have ever claimed, because it affects the money that is put in the school budget by the government for your son at school. Because everyone pays ‘using their finger,’ no-one knows who receives free school meals. If you didn’t tell us on the Admission Form, please let the Admissions Department know by email. If your situation changes, please inform the School. Your entitlement remains confidential information. There are two choices offered to the pupils for their lunch arrangements: l Using our self-service Dining Hall which provides a cooked meal and dessert each day. A range of sandwiches, baked potatoes, pasta dishes are also available. 2 Bringing a packed lunch from home eaten in the Dining Hall or in the grounds, unless cold or wet. Please also note that the Dining Hall serves breakfast from 7.50 am each day and snacks at break. Students are not allowed to leave the school grounds during the school day to go into Kingston, except in special circumstances in which case permission is given by the Head of Year 7 and only after receipt of a letter from parents. Free school meals are available to pupils in receipt of, or whose parents are in receipt of, one or more of the following benefits and are a statutory benefit:  Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)  Income Support  Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance  Income-related Employment and Support Allowance  Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999  The guarantee element of Pension Credit  Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Work- ing Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190) Free School Meals
