Workforce Southern California

Southern California’s workforce and labor market is unique in the same way that California has its own style and culture. People are accustomed to living in various parts of the region and either relocating to a specific sub-region for their employment or utilizing the region’s vast mobility network to travel to their place of work. For this very important reason, Southern California’s vast population is Riverside County’s workforce.

With a total civilian workforce of over 11 million. The Southern California Region has over 4.5 Million individuals with Bachelor degrees or better (2016 American Community Survey, 1 year estimate) or 31.5% of the population (aged 25 years or more).
