Get impressive power – 340 net PS and 542 N•m of net torque – when you opt for the twin-turbocharged direct-injected 2.7-liter GTDI V6 engine. 1 Its 2 turbochargers pump air quickly into the combustion chambers to generate a virtually instantaneous surge of power on demand.

With a substantial 308 net PS and 379 N•m of net torque, the standard 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine offers you smooth, responsive passing and merging. It also features twin independent variable camshaft timing that precisely controls when the intake and exhaust valves open and close to help optimize fuel combustion.

The finest Bridge of Weir Deepsoft ™ leather 1 trims the cooled, 22-way multicontour front seats with Active Motion® 1 massage functionality that can help reduce muscle fatigue in your upper legs and lower back. Even the rear outboard seats are designed to pamper rear-seat passengers, while the power panoramic Vista Roof® 1 ushers in fresh air for all. No hands required. With the Hands-Free Liftgate, your key fob can stay tucked away while you simply kick your foot beneath the rear bumper. The liftgate effortlessly opens to reveal a flat load floor and abundant space, thanks to the flexibility of a 60/40 split rear seat. After loading the cargo, close the liftgate with the press of a button, or by gently kicking your foot under the rear bumper again. Hands-free.

REDUCE CONFLICT.

Some vehicles may be out of your line of sight, but they can be detected by BLIS ® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert. 1,2 If the system’s radar sensors detect a vehicle in either blind spot while you’re driving forward, the system can alert you with a light in the corresponding sideview mirror. While backing up, it can also detect a vehicle approaching from either side, then notify you with a warning light and an audible tone.

Sometimes you can’t see it coming. A sudden turn in front of you. Unexpected brake lights. Get help from our Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection. 1,2 Using camera and radar technology, it can monitor the front of your vehicle’s proximity to other vehicles and pedestrians. If a potential collision is detected, it can alert you with visible and audible warnings and, if needed, precharge the brakes and increase brake sensitivity to help provide full responsiveness when you brake. If the system determines a collision is imminent, active braking may automatically apply full braking. 3

Just activate the Auto Hold feature, 1 then come to a complete stop. Even on a hill, the system will hold your vehicle in place until you press the accelerator. When highway cruising, activate Adaptive Cruise Control 1,2 and it can automatically adjust your vehicle’s speed to maintain your choice of 4 preset gaps from the vehicle in front of you.

STAY CENTERED.

If you start to drift out of your lane, the Lane-Keeping System 1,2 is there to help. Using a forward-facing camera to detect road lane markings, it can apply steering wheel torque and even alert you with a steering wheel vibration to help direct you to return to your lane. 4 If it detects that you’ve crossed the lane or repeatedly drifted, it can prompt the Driver Alert System 1,2 to chime and display a coffee cup image to remind you that it’s break time.

Lincoln MKX adapts to you... and for you. Torque Vectoring Control 1 and Electric Power-Assisted Steering (EPAS) adjust to enhance agility in different driving situations. Adaptive HID headlamps 2 swivel as you steer. Adaptive Steering 2 helps your vehicle feel taut and stable at higher speeds, yet very agile and fluid at lower speeds. Personalize your experience by switching between 3 drive modes – Comfort, Normal or Sport – with Lincoln Drive Control 2 featuring Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD). You can also allow the fully automatic Intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) 2 to adjust torque as needed – typically before wheelslip can even occur – so your Lincoln MKX performs at its best in various conditions.

MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS.

When parallel parking or backing into a perpendicular spot, turn to the Enhanced Active Park Assist System. 1,2 Using ultrasonic sensors, the system not only helps you locate an appropriate space, it steers Lincoln MKX into it. All you do is follow on-screen prompts and control the shifter, brake and accelerator pedals. It can steer while you pull out of a parallel spot, as well. And for additional guidance during parking maneuvers, the Forward 2 and Reverse Sensing Systems 1 will sound warning tones to alert you to objects near the front or rear of your vehicle.

By merging the views from 4 cameras – 1 in the front, 1 on each sideview mirror and 1 in the back – the 360-Degree Camera 1,2 creates an overhead view of your vehicle and its surroundings. Displayed on the 8" color screen, it includes a front washer and offers visual guides while the vehicle is in Reverse to help you gauge the distance to objects. You can also switch to a 180-degree view from either the front or the rear camera. The wide-angle view lets you see around corners and other vehicles to check for approaching cross traffic.

DETAIL STANDS OUT

When you’re away, your Lincoln MKX patiently awaits your return, to welcome you, invite you in, and even illuminate your path in the darkness. As you approach, it senses your key fob from up to 2.5 meters away and slowly raises its exterior LED lamps and signature lamps. Then, it graciously casts a luminous welcome mat with the Lincoln logo on the ground beneath each sideview mirror.

LED lights in the door handle pockets glow with an intensity that’s fine-tuned to the exterior color. Inside, the cabin softly illuminates with ambient lighting. 1 Once you close the door and relax into your seat, Lincoln MKX deploys the autofold 1 sideview mirrors with memory according to your personalized settings.
