Sobald alle Qualitätstests der Produktion bestanden sind, wird die DEDON-Faser auf die phillipinische Insel Cebu gebracht. Das Talent der Flechter führte DEDON im ersten Schritt nach Cebu. Den Ausschlag, dort zu bleiben, gaben das Lächeln, die Kultur, die Lebensart. Das Unternehmen hat dort eine Produktionsstätte aufgebaut, zertifiziert nach höchsten internationalen Standards. Es hat in Aus- und Fortbildung, sowie Gesundheit investiert. Heute ist Cebu der Standort des High-Tech Forschungs- und Entwicklungs- labors von DEDON. Der Aluminiumrahmenproduktion, der Qualitätssicherung und des internationalen Logistikzentrums. Und – natürlich – die Heimat der Meisterflechter, die Flecht- muster von beispielloser Komplexität, Handwerkskunst und Innovation erschaffen. And when DEDON is sure that each new batch of fiber is the best? It sends the fiber to Cebu Island, Philippines, the company’s home away from home. DEDON went to Cebu for the talent of the weavers, but it stayed for the smiles, the culture, the way of life. The company set up a manufactur- ing facility. Certified it to the highest international standards. Invested in training, health, education. And today? Cebu is the site of DEDON’s high-tech R&D lab. Its aluminum- frame production. Its quality control program. Its interna- tional logistics center. And of course, its master weavers, whose skills are reflected in woven patterns of incomparable intricacy, artistry and innovation.
