If the Philippines is DEDON’s second home, then Italy is surely our third. Since the beginning, we’ve produced our fabrics, ceramics and aluminum furniture in collaboration with the most passionate Italian manufacturers. This year, a Danish-Italian duo, GamFratesi, designed our refined and contemporary new AIIR collection of shell chairs. What better time, then, for the DEDON Tour du Monde to visit this country of endless beauty and exceptional quality of life? We went searching for the authentic Italy of small towns, remote villages and mellow nature. Along the way, we discovered the perfect house. Settled in a landscape of soft hills, it’s the kind of place that invites one to string lights across a long table and savor dinner with friends — which is exactly what we did. The walls of the centuries-old farm were the perfect backdrop for BREA, our new lounge system by Barber and Osgerby. The countryside invited us to explore and test our outdoor lighting in nature. Once again, Italy has shared its abundance with us. Now — in beautiful new designs, compelling new stories and gorgeous new photos — it’s our turn to share it with you.
