ROLLER PUMPS

POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT CAST IRON, NI-RESIST & SILVERCAST™ PUMP FOR MOST AG CHEMICALS & FLUID TRANSFER APPLICATIONS

PUMPS

Hypro roller pumps are known for their durability and long running capabilities, in fact, Hypro pumps last (on average) 2-½ times longer than the competition. This is due, in part, to the pumps’ high “Brinel”rating.Other pumps use a softer iron that can’t be finished as smoothly, and consequently, these pumps wear out earlier. Models range from 4-8 rollers per pump and come standard with Hy- pro’s “Super Roller” material. The pumps operate efficiently at PTO speeds of 540 and 1000 RPM. Pressure ranges are up to 300 PSI with flow rates of 2-74 GPM.The pump should be run at maximum pres- sure for only short periods of time to prevent premature pump failure.

• Housing is available in cast iron, Ni-Resist or SilverCast. Ni-Resist is a high nickel-content alloy for better corrosion resistance. SilverCast is a custom alloy that provides the best corrosion resistance when used with herbicides such as Roundup® • Self-priming operation; DO NOT run dry • Easily adaptable to PTO or gas engine drives • Standard seals are Viton or Buna-N • Standard super rollers are made from a combination of materials that provide the chemical resistance of nylon & the life of polypropylene. Super Rollers are ideal for use with water-soluble chemicals & emulsifiable concentrates. Super Rollers should not be used with acidic fertilizer. Polypropylene & Teflon rollers are available.
