SUCTION STRAINERS The use of suction strainers on suction line when drawing from streams or ponds will help prevent plugging and damage to pump.

HUDSON VALVE Hudson Valve maintains fluid level in various applications, replacing ball float valves. It operates using a patented float system. The fluid level forces a float to rise and close the diaphragm chamber, the dia- phragm then expands to stop the incoming flow.When the fluid level drops, the diaphragm escape is opened. The diaphragm empties and allows the fluid to fill the tank.This positive shutoff feature allows full flow until the valve closes. The valve body is made of durable glass fiber nylon 6/6 and is vented to eliminate siphoning. Internal parts are of ABS plastic, EPDM ethylene propylene rubber and stainless steel.The valve is resilient to freezing.The Hudson Valve is fully guar- anteed for two years when used under normal circumstances for the control of water in tanks and troughs. • Thread female: 1" • Height: 5" • Diameter: 3.75" • Operating pressure: 8-140 lb • Max. temperature: 90° F • Flow rate 80% of flow supplied to valve cap
