NOTEWORTHY: One ofjust two seniors (with Abou Sane) ... will compete for playing time at the shooting guard slot, but could see action at the point as well ... last year gave USD a big boost with his three-point shooting ab ility. 2002-2003 AT USD: Sharp-shooter played some key minutes for Toreros last season ... he scored 14 points and 13 points in back-to-back road losses at Nevada (Dec. 28, 2002) and Southern Methodist (Jan. 2, 2003) ... he made four three-pointers in the first half at

Pepperdine (Jan. 18, 2003) in helping the Toreros earn a key 88-73 West Coast Conference road win .. . he then poured in 3-of-6 treys at home against San Francisco (Jan. 25 , 2003) a week later in helping the Toreros to a 74-69 victory ... he tallied five games where he made at least 3 three-pointers ... he played a personal-best 27 minutes twice against Nevada and Pepperdine.
