Enjoyed consecutive 12-kill performances against North Carolina (9-11) and Pittsburgh (9-11) to earn All– Tournament honors at the Colorado Invitational. .. Totaled 34 digs and 71 kills in 20 games. Freshman in 2003 Emerged as a key part of USD's NCAA Tournament team as a true freshman .. Started in nine matches and appeared in 19... Helped USD reach the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 for the first time in school history... Played in 11 games and made one start.. . Killed a season-high eight against nationally recognized Long Beach State (9-21 )... Totaled 20 kills and five blocks on the season. Freshman at Duke in 2003 Made three starts while appearing in 20 matches... As a team the Blue Devils went 10-19.. . Murphy ranked third on the team with 109 assists...
