Started in a pair of matches and played in a total of 23 games for the WCC Champion Toreros as a true freshman ... Put down a season-high 13 kills, hitting for a .611 attack percentage, at Gonzaga (10-29).. . Had eight kills during a home victory over city rival San Diego State (10-5).. . Competed in a pair of NCAA Tournament matches, totaling seven kills against USC (12-10) in Regional play... Finished the season with an excellent hitting percentage of .394. Prep/Club McCarthy attended Indiana's Cathedral High School ... She led the Irish to a 30-3 record and a State Championship as a senior.. . Prep/Club Standout middle blocker for San Diego's Torrey Pines High School. .. Named a top prep recruit by numerous volleyball publications... One of the best middle blockers in the Avocado League...
