Learning and Earning Through EEESAYS 2018 workshops

The EEESAY team have been busy these last few months with two very special workshops for teachers and learners across Eastern Cape and KZN. These workshops ‘Using the School Business as an educational tool’ and ‘Developing our School Business’ were developed based on your feedback and were well attended with a total of 216 participants across both workshops. Because I plan on being a successful black woman, who will flourish in the corporate industry I found branding very important. Measuring Soft Skills using the Skills Builder Framework

Measuring progress is an important part of any successful school business. In February the EEESAY Team visited schools across KZN and Eastern Cape, training teachers to use the Skills Builder Framework. The Skills Builder Framework is a great tool for both teachers and learners. It helps learners to track their own growth and enables learners to become more self-directed with their learning . 593 learners have taken part in the EEESAY Skills Builder

Assessment in February and we look forward to seeing them again in October to see how much being a part of a school business increases business knowledge and soft skills.

CALLING ALL TEACHERS! Please remember to complete the educator Skills Builder Assessment, without this information the Monitoring of learner progress is really limited. Please share your results with Fezile or Zintle. At the end of this year we will share with all schools a progress report on your learners.
