The company has EN 10217-1 and ISO 9001-TUV SUD certifications, and can produce according to ASTM A-53 standards. The company has started to build a new 40,000m 2 facility in Sakarya, Turkey, to increase its production capacity. The company’s manufacturing portfolio consists of: spirally welded steel pipes (carbon steel and stainless steel); fittings (carbon steel and stainless steel), including elbows, tees and reducers; HDPE 100 polyethylene pipes and fittings; chimney pipes; victaulic pipes; sigur-headed pipes; and threading and coupling.

Grooved piping for faster installation Victaulic, USA, manufactures grooved and plain-end mechanical pipe joining systems. The company’s product range is based around its mechanical bolted coupling that fits into grooves with a gasket seal. The grooved piping method reduces the amount of installation time and saves a claimed 10 to 30% on total installed costs compared to welding, threading or flanging.

This method is used for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, water and wastewater treatment, oil field operations, mining, industrial processes, power plants,

military and marine systems, and other demanding fluid-handling applications.

The Victaulic grooved-end product range consists of rigid and flexible couplings, fittings, valves and tools and accessories. The grooved piping method accommodates most piping materials, including lightwall, standard and extra-heavy steel, stainless, aluminium, PVC, ABSand other plastics, as well as FRP glass fibre and high- density polyethylene and polybutylene.

In addition, products for copper tubing (CTS) and ductile iron (AWWA) for water supply, and underground and waste-treatment process piping are available.

The company exports 30% of its annual production and sales turnover

Metric/ISO sizes are available in addition to products made to British Standards (BS), Deutsches Institut Fur Normung eV (DIN), Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS), Australia Standards (AS) and other worldwide specifications. Victaulic also offers products using unique joining methods. For example, using a spline to join pipe, the Aquamine system offers reusable, high-impact PVC pipe, couplings and fittings for water-system solutions. The Depend-O-Lok line of products allows mechanical joining of large diameter pipe regardless of the size or standard. The Victaulic jointing system can achieve working pressures up to 1,000 psi (69 bar), and with correct gasket selection, temperatures up to 110°C, making it suitable for the HVAC, fire protection and industrial markets. Victaulic coupling and fitting sizes range from 25mm to 600mm, with its latest product, the new Advanced Groove System (AGS), accommodating sizes 350mm to 600mm.

Coatings and linings of pipes include PE (polyethylene) coating, FBE (fusion bonded epoxy) coating and lining, solvent-free epoxy coating and lining, bitumen coating, concrete lining, and thermal insulation (geothermal). The company also sells seamless pipe and fittings, ductile iron pipes and fittings, sewage pipes, irrigation pipes, natural gas and petroleum pipes, boiler pipes, construction pipes, rectangular and square sections, and cold drawn pipes.

System for thermal installations

The quality of materials, constant sealing and duration tests, and rigorous quality control allow the Eurotubi Pressfitting System to obtain conformity within strict European certifications. Carbon steel provides a competitive solution for thermal installations, offering the same quality provided by copper systems, at lower cost. The Eurotubi Pressfitting System is also compatible with most significant brands of fittings.

Eurotubi Pressfitting, from Eurotubi Europa, Italy, is a system of tubes and fittings used for hydrothermosanitary installations, and is suitable for the conveyance of water, gas, and compressed air. The fittings are able to support high pressures and temperatures over 85°C. Tubes and fittings are assembled through the permanent deformation of the fitting by special pressing jaws

mounted on small electromechanical tools. Once pressed, the O-ring ensures hermetical connection. The Pressfitting system combines the reliability of joints with a quick and easy method of laying, as it requires no gluing, threading or welding. A wide range of fittings are available in diameters from 15mm to 108mm in stainless steel 316L, and in diameters from 12mm to 108mm in carbon steel.
