PERSONAL: Christopher Jensen was born on Sept. 30, 1990 in Phoenix, Ariz....he is the son of Phil and Kristi Jansen ...was heav– ily recruited by Kansas State, Gonzaga and Santa Clara ...chose to attend USO because of the great baseba ll program and the outstanding academ ic reputation... notes that he spent a week in New Orleans helping to rebuild houses after 9-11.

COLLEGE: Played at Sacramento City College for two seasons... as a sophomore year he hit .364 w ith 47 hits, two home runs and was named first-team All-Conference, wh ile leading the league in hitting with a .437 average in conference games...helped lead his team to the 2008 league championship and to a regional championship. HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three varsity letters playing baseball at Armijo High School...helped lead his team to back-to-back league championships as a sophomore and junior...as a senior he hit .337 and earned an All-Monticello Empire League honor- able mention and was named AII-County...as a junior he hit .457 and was named All-MEL and AII -County...as a sophomore he hit .364 and earned an All-MEL honorable mention. PERSONAL: Christopher Scott Egell was born on Dec. 2, 1986 in Fairfield, Calif....he is the son of Randy and Tam i Engell...was also recruited by Long Beach State and Oral Roberts...chose to attend USO because of the baseball program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earn ed four va rsity letters in baseball while playing at nea rby Grossmont High School...helped lead his team to three Grossmont North Leag ue championships and four CIF Division II championships...as a senior he hit .306 with nine home run s and 30 RBI en rout to earni ng first-team AII-Gross– mont North and second-team AII-CIF distin ction ...as a junior he hit .408 with 1 O home run sand 39 RBI en route to a second-team All-State underclassman,a first-team All-League and a fi rst-team All-State distinction...as a sophomore, he hit .370 with seven home runs and 36 RBI and was named first-team All-League, first-team AII-CIF and was named the Rookie of the Yea r for the Grossmont North League. HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball at nearby Patrick Henry High school...was drafted in the 43rd round by the Houston Astros in the 2008 MLB draft...as a senior he hit .444, had 13 doubles, five home runs and 27 RBI en rout to a first-team All-Eastern Leag ue and first-team AII-CIF distinctions...as a senior he helped histeam win the Eastern League championship and post a 20-1 overa ll record...as a junior, he hit .462 with 11 doubles, three home run s and 28 RB l...was named first-team All-League and second-and team AII-CIF as a junior...also played wate r polo all four years, where he was named the Eastern League MVP as a senior. HIGH SCHOOL: Played baseball for four years at St. Francis High School...helped lead his team to a pair of Mission Leag ue cham– pionships as a freshman and sophomore and to the CIF semi– Finals as a senior...was named first-team All-Conference as a sophomore. PERSONAL: Brian Andrew Farris was born on Feb. 25, 1987 in Long Beach,Calif....he is the son of Claude and Shirley Farris...was also recruited by Illinois-Chicago, Chico State and UC Santa Bar– ba ra...chose to attend USO because of the weather in Sa n Diego, and because of the top notch baseball program.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two varsity letters in baseball while play– ing at Mesquite High School...as a senior he posted a 7-3 record with a 3.22 ERA, was named first-team All-Region and helped lead his team to the state championships...as a junior he posted a 8-3 record and posted a 1.90 ERA and ea rn ed an Arizona Re– public Honorable Mention.
