5. Vinea Wachau - an association established in 1983 that includes most of the wine producers in the Wachau. Members must adhere to strict quality standards. The organization categorizes the white wines of the Wachau into three tiers of ripeness:

• Steinfeder (wines with maximum 11% ABV) • Federspiel (wines between 11% and 12.5% ABV) • Smaragd (wines achieving more than 12.5% ABV)

6. Steirische Terroir und Klassikweingüter (STK) - an association of ten Styrian winegrowers who adhere to strict quality standards and maintain an esteemed vineyard classification. STK members classify their production into four categories:

• Grosse STK Lage (single vineyard grand cru) • Erste STK Lage (single vineyard premier cru) • Ortswein (Villages wine) • Gebietswein (Regional wine)

7. WienWein (veen vine) - The WienWein group was formed in 2006 to set new measures of quality for Viennese wine. The 6-member association represents the very best of Viennese wine.
