Rosendahl celebrates 50 years

Developments in foaming and in the fibre optic segment made Rosendahl take the decision to enlarge its product range to serve the evolving market. In time, RF welding and c o r r u g a t i o n technology solutions were developed, c o m p l e m e n t i n g Rosendahl’s existing technology sectors.

Ongoing development and techn- ological progress are the fundamental values on which Rosendahl has built its 50-year history. Within those fifty years, Rosendahl has grown to be a global supplier of manufacturing technology for the production of power, automotive and fibre optic cables, RF, datacom and coaxial cables. In 1959 Walter Rosendahl had the ambition to become a high technology cable equipment manufacturer for a variety of industries. Mr Rosendahl worked hard on his first developments in various segments and by 1965 he had managed to achieve the goals he had in mind. An historical milestone in 1965 was the development of the first extrusion line. Extrusion technology continues to be a strength of Rosendahl. A second important step, in 1971, was the introduction of the SZ-stranding technology, which has since been implemented in a large number of lines.

In 2005 Nextrom became part of the group and together with Rosendahl conjointly serves the market with its technology.
