Heavy-duty take-ups Flymca is a manufacturer of rotating equipment with experience of special applications, and particularly of large-scale equipment.

During July and August 2009, Flymca will be demonstrating to interested customers a 127-wire rigid stranding line, prepared for manufacturing trapezoidal cable, a drum twister line for PO diameter 2,250mm 8 tons, and PO and TU diameter 4,500mm 40 tons with a rotating caterpillar for 5 tons pulling strength.

Easykoil reels from Slovakia GMP Slovakia is among the leaders in the production of take-apart reels, such as the Easykoil Plus. This reel is patented and can also be used as a coil lifter. With lifting rings in the lifting position, the barrel expands during the lifting operation and takes up the coil.

With the lifting rings in ‘free’ position, the barrel collapses during the lifting operation and sets the coil free. Easykoil Plus is completely machined on those parts in contact with the wire and it can be customised according to customer need. It can be supplied with slots in the flange to fit cardboard barrels or with changeable flanges to make coils of different widths.

Easykoil Plus can be balanced and, to prevent wear problems due to the high rotation speed, hardened changeable bushings are recommended.

De-reeling and winding FUR Wickeltechnologie GmbH is a specialist in the development and manufacture of mechanical and electronically controlled de-reeler systems and winding systems. Recently, the company has concentrated on the area of automation technology for winding systems and has developed several new products. Fine wire de-reelers with electrical hysteresis brake control are now in use by many customers.
