Flow-Coating Flow-coating is profoundly different than traditional dip-coating methods used by other safety eyewear brands. Dip-coating applies an identical coating to both sides of the lens and can sacrifice the quality of one protective property over the other. Traditional dip coatings can either be scratch-resistant or anti-fog. The combination of the two compromises the performance of each. Flow-coating technology has allowed HexArmor ® to pioneer four completely new coating combinations in the Americas that include permanent anti-fog on the interior of the lens and either a scratch-resistant hard coat or permanent anti-fog on the exterior of the lens.
