Above photographs show His Excellency, the Most Reverend Charles F. Buddy, Ph.D., D.D., Bishop of San Diego, at the microphone and at the altar in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Chicago, on Friday, Nov. 5th. On that occasion His Excellency gave the Radio Sermon (see text on this page), the Radio "Message to the Sick," and Solemn Pontifical Ben- ediction. This is the Church where the Perpetual Novena in honor of Our Sorrowful Mother began, and has been in charge of the Servite Fathers (the Order of Servants of Mary) since its founding. Deacon to His Excellency pictured here, is Rev. Peter Doherty, O.S. 1.: Subdeacon, Rev. Martin White, O.S.l\-I. The Very Rev. Jerome W. DePencier, O.S.M..
