But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him.’” (Mark 9: 2-13) When the power of the holy [spiritual] people is finally broken, the final disconnect is complete. The Holy Spirit is what makes anyone Holy, and sadly enough mankind has turned away, but follow the world [thinking they are holy] while professing knowledge with inaccurate theories. Soberly consider the state of Christianity today, and the influences within the world acceptable to most, and the effects that the Christian majority has regarding the liberal agendas. Evaluate the state of immorality in our country, let alone the rest of this world. If those who proclaim themselves to be Christian were truly Christian, immorality would not exist in most of this country and perhaps be lessened in the world. However Christian majority continually elects immoral politicians, permits the house of God to be defiled, and has accepted immorality at large. Teachers openly indoctrinate these ideas to school children, even Christian schools, and immoral entertainment has penetrated even in one’s own home. Authority is given to the world and it has decided that these standards are acceptable; is that truly what Christianity is all about? Is there any doubt that the power of the holy people is broken and almost completely disconnected? What was once intended to be holy is no longer holy, evidenced by what is acceptable within churches, households, and society at large, and the family weakened state of the family. Time and again we are shown the difference between what the world desires, everything that is immoral and to what God desires: the exact opposite. From the very beginning we were told, and shown that with knowledge we will know both good and evil. So, to accentuate the spiritual difference between good and evil, we must come to terms with the spiritual forces affecting our thinking.
