Menu promotion with the Diner restaurant chain: menu sheet introducing The Diner’s two new burgers (left), the re-open party (middle), and blogger’s post (right). • IMR is inviting a Japanese bread chef Kobayashi to Taiwan to conduct three sessions during the bakery seminar in early March 2018, targeted towards professional bakers island-wide. The seminars will be co-sponsored by Raisin Administrative Committee.

• IMR Taiwan will participate again in the 2018 Food Taipei Show June 27-30 in Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.

• IMR will sponsor Far Eastern Group’s “2018 Top Talent for New Life Chef Competition” to reach culinary schools’ teachers, lecturers and students.

• Through the “Cheese Tour 2017” educational event, IMR-Taiwan was introduced to the Skylark Restaurant Group and will discuss the possibility of doing a co-op menu promotion in March 2018.

• 57 sessions of in-store demos for packaged California cheeses were completed during November and December.

Thailand

Great American Burger Battle

We took part in a 3-day event of the American Food Fun Fest in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Bangkok’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS/USDA) at Central World shopping plaza in Bangkok from December 1 st -3 rd . Winning burger chefs from Bangkok and Pattaya participated in a burger off, using all-American ingredients such as U.S. beef, California cheese, California raisins, U.S. potatoes and Washington apples. The CMAB booth had a presence at the event where attendees could enjoy California yogurt ice cream (YogurtLand) and grilled cheese sandwiches aimed to demonstrate the use of various types of California cheeses to make grilled sandwich. We also supported give- away California Milk bags at Holy Cheese restaurant, who are California cheese users. CMAB gained significant media exposure.
