Knife Safety • Always use a sharp knife

• Use the correct knife for the job

• Wear cut resistant gloves • Store knives safely • Cut/slice away from the body • Keep fingers and thumbs out of the way of the cutting line • Let a falling knife fall. Do not try to catch it • Do not store knives in sink between use • Avoid placing knives near the edge of countertop
