10.2 Expression of results

Express the results to two decimal places.

NOTE Fatty acids results expressed in g (or mg) / 100g products can be converted in other results expression format (e.g. g /100 g serving size, g / 100 g reconstituted products for powders, as ‘ready-to-feed” liquids “as is”; b) reconstituted powders (25 g into 200 g of water); and c) liquid concentrates diluted 1:1 by weight.)

11 Precision

11.1 Interlaboratory test

Details of the interlaboratory studies organized and elaborated in accordance with ISO 5725-1/2 on the precision of the method are summarized in Annex B and will be published.

The values for repeatability and reproducibility limit are expressed for the 95 % probability level and may not be applicable to concentration ranges and matrices other than those given.

11.2 Repeatability

The absolute difference between two independent single test results, obtained using the same method on identical test material in the same laboratory by the same operator using the same equipment within a short interval of time, shall in not more than 5 % of cases be greater than a mass fraction of (to determine):

11.3 Reproducibility

The absolute difference between two independent single test results, obtained using the same method on identical test material in different laboratories with different operators using different equipment, shall in not more than 5 % of cases be greater than a mass fraction of fat of (to determine).

12 Test report

The test report shall include at least the following information:

a) all information necessary for the complete identification of the sample;

b) the sampling method used, if known; with reference of this International Standard;

c) the test method used, together with reference to this International Standard;

d) all operating details not specified in this International Standard, or regarded as optional, together with details of any incidents which may have influenced the test result(s);

e) the test result(s) obtained;
