Due to the absence of Treasurer Frank Corcoran, VC Chuck gave the financial report. Chuck reviewed the financial reports. He indicated that there is $89,870.42 in current assets. Motion: Moved by Randy Pagel to approve the financial report. Seconded by Don Reiss. Motion Carried.

ABYA Report: P/C John Anderson PC John Anderson was unable to attend the ABYA meeting, so Commodore Brian McEvoy attended the meeting and ABYA Vice Commodore Rick Romatz gave the report. The sheriff department will hold classes on boating regulations at Mac Ray Harbor. With the new law, the rules on the water are the same as on land. There are only four paid officers in the sheriff department, the rest are volunteers. The border patrol will have classes in April. Midland is right around the corner. There will be the rubber band boat races at this event. Correspondence: A letter was received from ILYA requesting that North Channel renew their ad in their booklet. It is something that is done every year. The cost is $150 for a 1/4 page ad. The ad will be renewed. A letter was received from an anonymous donor with a check for $5,000. The letter stated that it is to be used as needed.

I. CURRENT BUSINESS

Activities - Kim Miedema Kim stated that Rana Shepperson requested money for the Memorial Day Dinner. Kim will contact Rana with approval.
