VOICE OVER THE TOP If renowned actor Martin Sheen sounds like the natural voice of USD’s new “Changemaker” video, it might be because he’s already got a connection with the university. He first visited campus in 2007 to receive the USD Peace Medal from the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies for his efforts in support of human rights. Sheen has a history of using his celebrity to advance causes close to his heart. Among those is the work of Monsignor Michael Dolan, pastor of the Sacred Heart Church in Camden, N.J. Sheen donated the modest honorarium forhis involvement with the latest USD TV spot to support Dolan’s work in one of the poorest communities in the United States.
