High School: Pitched in the Avocado League for Rancho Buena Vista High... her sophomore season she went 19-5-1 pushing her team to second place at the Dl CIF Championship and earning her spot on All-CIF and First Team All-League... she saw identical results her junior season when she went 18-4 was named to the San Diego Hall of Champions, All-CIF, First Team All– League and pushed her team to second place in the CIF Championship where she also earned herself a title as

Pitcher of the Year... in her senior season she went 18-9, was named Athlete of the Year, North County Times All-Academic, All-CIF and First Team All-League while her team was again runner up in the CIF Championship... Coach McElvain on Katie Jo: Katie Jo is a very tough pitcher to face in the circle. She has great focus, determination and composure.

High School: Played at Woodinville High in the Kingco-Mountain Division... In her sophomore sea– son she was named All-Kingco Honorable Mention and her team Kingco Champions... Second Team All– Kingco her junior year on a team that went 27-0 won Kingco and state... team was Kingco Champions and 3rd in state her senior season.
