UPWARD SWING The 1993-94 season for the

USD Golf team was just on its way.... It offered an excep– tionally young team. With five returning sophomores and six incoming freshman, the teamwas both young and talented. Senior Steve Brown, last year's Number Two player, and senior Larry Petryk pro– vided tournament experi– ence and returned in top form. Their absence in the 94 seasonwill be greatlymissed. Juniors Chad Buchanan,Matt Freeman, and Jason Steuernagel provided depth and experience to the young group. The Toreros were proud to host the USD/Ashworth Invitational at the Stardust country Club.
