Put A Little Love In Your Heart Volunteer Resources

A poll taken by the Office ofStudentAffairs in the fall of 1993 re– vealed an amazing fact– -despite the demands a full-time college sched– ule demands, a surpris– ing 46 percent of all stu– dents interviewed dis– played an interest in communityservice. The Volunteer Resources Staff is prepared to an– swer this call. The Vol– unteer Resources office, headed byDirectorJudy Rauner and Assistant Director Barbara Peterson, offers support services to community projects initiated by stu– dents, faculty, and staff. Through a team ap– proach, many opportu– nities are available to learn about and be in– volved in community service. Through their close association with ASCommunityService, the VR Office sponsors events such as the Linda Vista Kids Project and the American Indian Outreach.
