LAW-2310 Products Liability Seminar Prof. Jeffrey D. Wittenberg, 2 credits day; 2 credits evening.
This course presents a study of the potential liability of the supplier of defective products. It includes various theories of recovery (including negligence, express and implied warranties and strict liability in tort). The specific topics covered include: design and manufacturer defects, the inadequacy and failure of warnings, crashworthiness, causation and defenses.
