Expectation – at rest and in motion. At rest – into the vibrating vortex, black star, between the desiccated specks of tea leaves. In motion – in a field of dust and snow, into the city of transparent houses, into the white-streaked sky. Leaning upon, supporting, emitting. Gathering, pushing off, revolving. Of two sides that are similar, how is it possible to tell which side is the other. It is thus that a branch becomes your own. And through the slow coursing of the air, in the wide above, the southern stars come into view. _____
