The rooms were created from two empty apartments and sleep a total of 41 people. The bedrooms feature lots of wood, exuding a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each room is named for the first mountain the eye falls on when admiring the view from the window.

The mountain lodge is per- fect for families, company excursions and club trips.

One thing the rooms don’ t have is pic tures on the wa ll. “The pic tures are a ll on the outside,” grins restaurant manager Peter Keller. It ’s clear what Peter means when you go to the window and behold Engelberg’s breath-taking mountain scener y. Each room is named for the f irst mountain the eye fa lls on when admiring the v iew f rom the window. The Ristis mountain lodge is the idea l star ting point for a range of hikes and climb- ing tours, and is great for families.
