ENGLISH VARMEX® is produced from burnt carbon fibres and is ideal for protection of humans, machines and products when exposed to heat, flames and sparks, etc. Varmex® is manufactured in several qualities, designed to provide optimal protection in various working situations. Varmex® 2000 V54 Varmex® 2000 V54 is a fire safe textile, which insolates heat, embers and sparks, and is ideal for welding related tasks. The material is light weight, antistatic, breathable, and does not reflect light, Varmex® 2000 V5439 Offers the same characteristics as VARMEX® 2000 V54 but quilted with VARMEX® V39, for even higher degree of thermal insulation. The material is perfect for shielding items and protection of humans. Varmex® V180 Jersey Combining burnt carbon fibres with special heat-treated wool produces a jersey material, which is very soft and flexible and well suited as an inner or intermediate lining. Varmex® V15 Alu Combining Varmex® with aluminium produces a material with a shining surface which reflects radiant heat and tolerates up to 900​ o​ C. Varmex® Alu can be combined with Varmex® Jersey for a superior degree of thermal insulation.
