The Birches Assisted Living Free! The Birches provide their residents with the necessary resources to live a physically, mentally, and socially active life, so they can remain healthy, strong and vibrant at any age. There are many events the facility schedules that provide recreation opportunities for the residents. Volunteering for one of these events allows you to make a difference in the lives of these residents as well as have fun in the process! An additional perk is the community service hours that will be fulfilled in the process. Come out, have a great time and make a difference! Feed My Starving Children

Teen Photography Class This class is for beginners

This non-profit organization is dedicated to feeding children around the world in over 70 countries. Teens will volunteer and hand-pack meals to be sent to malnourished children. Fee includes transportation and supervision. Trip departs/returns from Lisle Park District 1925 Ohio St. Age: 12-17

Learn the most common mistakes made during the job search and how to avoid making them. Gain valuable knowledge on how to prepare an effective application and resume. Learn how social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are used by employers to find out about you before you even get an interview. Taught by Recreation Professionals from surrounding park districts with experience hiring young staff, this class can help set you apart from your competition and land the job you want.
