AARP Smart Driver Course Successful completion of this two-day safety course may qualify those over 55 for a reduction in their liability insurance plan. The program is not connected with the written driving exam. Members must bring their AARP card to the first class. Hunter Safety Education Passing a Hunter Safety class is required for anyone born on or after Jan. 1, 1980, who wants an Illinois hunting license. This course covers CPR for the adult victim (over eight years of age) along with rescue techniques for conscious and unconscious choking victims. The course also covers the use of the AED. Certification is valid for two years. Age: 12+ Min/Max: 8/15 R/NR: $42/$60 Location: Lincoln Center Instructor: Juli Wascher Class # Date Day Time 171009-01 2/7 TH 6:00-9:00pm Infant & Child CPR Designed for childcare providers, teachers and parents. This course focuses on rescue techniques for full arrest victims from newborn to two years of age. The course also covers conscious and unconscious choking along with rescue breathing. The use of an AED is discussed. Certification is valid for two years. All students should have previous CPR training. Class includes adult, child and infant CPR and AED as well as two rescuer CPR, bag valve masks and conscious/unconscious choking victims.
