Pottery for Kids Pinch pots, cute cups and fun sculptures are a few of the pieces children create using the hand-building clay techniques of coil, pinch and slab. Participants must attend the first class in order to complete projects. Students will learn a new lesson in each class with a step-by-step approach featuring a variety of subjects including animals, action, still-life, landscape and cartoons. Students use different types of media to help build confidence with drawing concepts and skills. ADULT ART Mixed Media Art

Students will create multi-layered artwork utilizing a variety of materials such as paint, ink, imagery, print making and found objects. Age: 16+ Min/Max: 5/10 R/NR: $93/$140 Location: Lincoln Center Class # Date Day Time 110072-01 1/15 - 2/26 TU 7:00-8:00pm Adult Pottery Learn basic hand building skills in this relaxing class while making new friends. This fun class will enable students to work at their own pace and create one of a kind pieces for their homes. Projects are finished using your choice of color glazes. A separate project pickup date will be announced during class. All materials are provided. Each student will make ceramic bases and tiles and then combine them using colorful patterns and designs. Grouting and sealing will also be covered.
