It’s hard to say why the Paloma never replaced the Margarita as the preferred Agave-based cocktail. It’s equally refreshing, and served in a tall glass. It makes us think about summer nights, and cool breezes. Try this mixed base combination of Blanco Tequila and Reposado Mezcal to get the best of both worlds.

AGAVE SPIRITS

Paloma

Pinch of quality salt or a few dashes saline solution

SCOTCH • AMERICAN WHISKEY 1

.5 oz Simple syrup .5 oz Fresh lime juice

1 oz Fresh pink grapefruit juice 1 oz Mina Real Reposado Mezcal 1 oz Cimarron Blanco Tequila

Build and shake shortly to emulsify. Fill highball glass with cubed ice. Add soda water half way. Pour cocktail over ice. Garnish with pink grapefruit or lime slice.
