Die Urnerstaffel befindet sich in einem idealen Wander-, Ski-, Schnee-
schuh- und Touren-Gebiet (2 Lifte), direkt am Walenpfad. Neben den
üblichen Zimmern bieten wir auch Familienzimmer und Massenlager.
Die Gartenterrasse mit grossem Kinderspielplatz lädt zum Verweilen
ein für Gross und Klein. Gut bürgerliche Küche.
The Urnerstaffel is located right on the Walen Trail, surrounded by
numerous hiking, skiing, snowshoeing and mountaineering opportunities
(two lifts). As well as the standard rooms, we also offer family rooms
and dormitories. The garden terrace has a large playground, making it a
popular spot for guests young and old. Our restaurant serves up tradi-
tional, home-cooked food.

Unser Kleinhotel ist ein Familienbetrieb mit saisonalen kulinarischen
Angeboten. Im Herbst bekannt für Pfeffer und weiteren Spezialitäten
von Gems, Hirsch und Steinbock. Im Winter gibt’s bei uns 10 verschie-
dene Käsefondues. Im Frühling und Sommer bieten wir Leichtes und
Währschaftes ab Karte, wie zum Beispiel unsere Nidwaldner Hack-
fleischkrapfen, Polenta und Älplermagronen. Montag und Dienstag
Ruhetag.
Gasthaus Post is a small, family-run hotel with a restaurant that special-
ises in seasonal dishes. Our autumn specialities include venison (chamois,
deer, and ibex); in winter we serve up ten different varieties of cheese
fondue; and in spring and summer we offer both light and hearty dishes,
such as our Nidwalden mince pasties, polenta, and Älplermagronen
(Swiss macaroni cheese). We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
