D.10 ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

General Statement of the Function : The Associate Director for Information Technology serves as an Assistant to the Dean of Information Technology. This person reports directly to the Dean of Information Technology and assists in facilitating the administrative computing functions of the College.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Assist the Dean of Information Technology in the management and support of the Administrative Student Information System; (Jenzabar EX) 2. Manage and support the web portal for Jenzabar EX; (JICS) 3. Manage and support the web servers required for JICS; 4. Manage and support the Jenzabar EX Learning Management system; 5. Create reports using various reporting tools such as SQL and Infomaker and other pc data mining tools; 6. Write SQL scripts to extract files for state reporting, network access, and third party software; 7. Serve as Webmaster for both the external and internal websites; 8. Serve as the primary technical contact for the online Learning Management System (Blackboard); 9. Provide documentation for Information Technology procedures; 10. Research and submit recommendations on hardware and software options related to Administrative software projects; and 11. Perform other duties as assigned.
