Local Equity Planning Rubric Now Available ODE completed a review of submitted Fiscal Year 2018 Local Equitable Access Plans , reported under the Equitable Access to Excellent Educators Component tab within the Comprehensive Continuous Improvement Plan (CCIP) system. A scored rubric recognizes strengths in local plans and identifies potential areas for improvement. Keep in mind that the rubric is offered as technical assistance to inform and bolster ongoing and future equity efforts. The scored rubric can be accessed through a link that was emailed on May 22-23 to superintendents. Blizzard Bag Reminder While the beginning of summer seems like an inappropriate time to think about snow, it is the time to adopt the resolution authorizing blizzard bags and online instruction to make up time lost due to calamity days if a district wishes to use one of those options in 2018- 2019. Ohio Revised Code 3313.482 requires that boards adopt the necessary resolution by August 1 of each year. It is no longer required that a copy of the resolution be filed with ODE.
