Hello AmeriClub members and friends, Happy 2018! I bet many of you have set some New Year’s Resolutions. I hope AmeriClub travel is on the list.

We have many exciting Local Events, One Day Ventures, and Extended Travel opportunities selected for 2018. I hope that as you turn the pages of this Journal you will find just what you are looking for. Maybe it’s at the Bell Tower, Five Flags or the Grand Opera House. Perhaps Circa ‘21, Fireside, a Broadway in Chicago production or a mys- tery trip will be on your list. Even better let’s go on the Mexican Riviera Cruise or to California, Alaska, Iceland, or Branson together. It’s hard to imagine how much we have on the 2018 calendar already with the guarantee of more to be added as opportuni- ties arise. One of the biggest changes for me in my new position is how far into the future things need to be planned. It is so exciting to have so many journeys ahead. However, February 2 is one day that I am not especially looking forward to. As Julia’s retirement nears I struggle with emotions of losing my mentor, travel partner, and new friend. Julia does an amazing job and we will all miss her very much. As I continue to learn my new position and my confidence grows I hope to blend my spirited approach and my outgoing personality with the extreme attention to detail needed to make unforgettable memories for all.

Make today great!
