Loren has spearheaded the sale and purchase of dozens of mid-market manufacturing companies and, at this year’s conference, he will share his expertise with a presentation entitled “How to get a deal done”. His session will cover the “four factors that must be present” to complete a deal; give case studies to illustrate each factor; and explain the “ownership treadmill” — what it is, and how to get off. February’s Harness Manufacturer’s Association (WHMA) annual conference, in Scottsdale, Arizona, will be addressed by Loren Smith. Between 1976 and 2001, Smith was CEO and majority shareholder of MWC, a manufacturer of electrical wire harness assemblies. MWC grew to join the world’s leading suppliers of electrical wire harness assemblies for the construction equipment industry. After Mr Smith negotiated the sale of the company, he started up Blue Valley Capital LLC, and now serves as the CEO and lone shareholder. 2018 Wiring
