The Wire Association International (WAI) Inc has appointed Richard T Wagner as president of the association for a one-year term, beginning 1 st January 2018. Wagner will serve as chairman of the board of directors and as the 65 th president of the 88-year-old association headquartered in Madison, Connecticut.

A veteran of 40 years in the wire industry, Wagner joined WAI in 2013.

In addition to his role as president, and his forthcoming second term on the association’s board, Wagner will continue to serve on its conference programming committee.
