the beginning stages, we are working on it as time permits. We still have a bunch of old pic tures that were taken throughout the years, so keep a look out you may make the web page!! We have built a new bridge on our Loop Trail; we have re-planked some of the other bridges and we are in the process to building a new lean to on our groomer garage.

Hello Sledders, Trail work is in full session with good turn outs including those from the younger gener ation. We cleared and brushed the new trail to Applebee’s in preparation for excavation work. Thank you to everyone for your help and support. Thank you to everyone who has joined our club early to allow us to get a head start on this season. We are decorating and donating a tree to the Oxford Hills Festival of trees. The theme this year is snow which fits in nicely with our theme. Our members decorated the tree with gift cards and merchandise which will then be raffled off with proceeds going to a local charity. December’s meeting will on Monday the 5th instead of Tuesday. We have had very good attendance at our meetings. Everyone interested in snowmobiling is welcome to attend. Happy Thanksgiving from the Norway Trackers. Dan Trouant, club reporter Hello everyone, All the clubs are very busy preparing for the upcoming season and I’m sure I speak for most clubs as we encourage folks to join and support the cause. We have had several new members join us and many of the renewals are coming in. If you haven’t mailed in your renewal, please do so now so you can start receiving the newsletter along with the rest of us! Thank you all for your support! We are currently working on making several new signs and improving the signage out on the trails. There will also be new trail maps printed this year. Keep your eyes out for our red donation boxes by the end of December. They will be at Jockey Cap Store, Osgood’s Outdoor Power & Auto, 302 West Smoke house, D’s Pizza, Fryeburg Napa, The Oxford House Inn, Fryeburg Kitchen & Marketplace, Stow Corner Store and the Fryeburg Town Office. We will be having our annual club Christ mas party at the Old Saco Inn on Wednesday, December 14th. Keep an eye on your mailbox for your invitation that will be coming near the end of November. Start doing your snow dancing! Sincerely, FRYEBURG AREA SNOWMOBILE ASSOCIATION Fryeburg, ME

of those years was out of necessity as no one else would take over and he wanted to keep the club going. It was sometimes a love/hate relationship. He obviously loved what he did but sometimes got discouraged because he had so much energy and the others couldn’t keep up with his ambitious ideas and plans. Mark sent out texts and arranged work groups every Sunday morning, he dealt with dissat isfied landowners, and he worked tirelessly keeping the groomers and drags in working order. You could always find him on ITS 89 and other trails grooming or in the Tucker garage working. Mark has spent much time doing the paperwork for the equipment and municipal grants each year. He will continue to help out with those. He is not leaving us high and dry but will take on the role of assis tant trail master, helping trail master Jake McAlister, among other duties. Thanks again Mark for your long tenure as president. Leah Frechette, Club reporter Hello, Well, it’s headed towards the last week of October. We held our first meeting of the 22/23 season earlier in the month. Our discus sion was mostly the planning of trail mainte nance and also discussed the purchase of an additional new pole saw. We have already done 3 Sundays of brushing where we have had a good turnout of individuals helping out. We certainly could use more help where we have a ton of brushing to do. If anyone is inter ested, we meet at 132 Miles Square Road in Phillips, behind George Berry’s garage every Sunday morning at 8 AM. NORTH FRANKLIN sc North Franklin, ME Find us on Facebook

Relations Specialist, as our guest speaker at our January 13th Club meeting. Our business meeting began at 7:15 with President Blaine Chapman giving an update on the various trail changes that might affect us. The issue of the 5 newly built houses on ITS 89 has been resolved to everyone’s satis faction. Club Work Crews started trail work on Sunday, Oct. 16. Anyone wishing to help out should show up at Walgreens in Bridgton on Sundays at 8AM. Work is usually com pleted by noon.

Bill Preis gave an update on the 2023 Lake Region Snowmobile Trail Map, which is on track to be printed in December. He also showed a sample of the Club Logo which was designed to go on the back of a snowmobile trailer. They are 2 feet in diameter, are attached with self-adhesive, and can be purchased at Muddy River Signs for $50. Bill also made a special request for members to step forward next year to help with selling ads for the Map. Many thanks to Bob Corthell for all the years he has done the job of selling the ads, and he deserves praise for a job well done. Steve Emery, Club Trip Planner, brought us up to date on the two Club Trips planned for this coming winter: 37 people signed up for the Millinocket trip; 40 signed up for Car ibou. These will be the largest trips yet and will be a blast! As usual, we will divide into small groups for riding, so everyone can find a group that matches their riding interest and ability. Our next Club meeting will be on Friday, November 11th, at the Bridgton Community Center. The Fabulous Pot Luck Supper will be at 6PM, followed by the 6:45 business meet ing. All are welcome. Hope to see you there, Bill Preis BER Club Correspondent Bridgton Easy Riders displays their new club logos

The club’s new snowmobile for grooming the secondary trails has arrived. This brings the inventory back up to two. A 20-year-old sled was sold a couple years ago. Memberships are coming in at a good rate. Just a few more to collect. Thanks to our business members in town for their support. It was voted to start the monthly meetings at 6 pm instead of 7 pm on the third Wednesday each month. We will try this in hopes it will be helpful with more members attending the meetings. Officers were elected. Roland Frechette is the new and repeat president. He did it many years ago. He is retired and has more time to devote to the club. A big THANK YOU goes to Mark Fox. He has been the president for the past 15-17 years (we have lost count). Many Andover Snow Valley Sno-Goers builds new bridge on Loop Trail STREAKED MOUNTAINEERS sc Buckfield, ME
