INSPIRE SCIENCE OVERVIEW CSD Adopted Curriculum for Science Instruction

Inspire Science Adoption McGraw Hill Inspire Science was adopted for use for the Canyons School District after careful review of different curriculum and products by a district adoption team consisting of teachers, specialists, and administrators. The McGraw Hill curriculum is aligned to National Standards, not Utah standards, so the adoption team determined which lessons and supports aligned to our Utah State Science and Engineering Education Standards (SEEd) and those lessons are outlined in the pacing guide provided. McGraw Hill has curriculum/lesson supports that go beyond our state standards, so teachers should carefully follow the outlined sequence and pacing guide. Inspire Science Resources Inspire science comes with 4 Teacher Edition Books. Teachers will receive a Teacher Edition set through their Library/Media Specialist.

Inspire science also comes with workbooks for each student. Consumables are automatically sent to school during the summer based on enrollment data. Additional workbooks can be ordered through the District Warehouse.

Access to Inspire Science Teachers and students will be able to access Inspire Science through Clever OR Canvas beginning in the 23-24 school year.
