KUBOTA IMPROVES PRODUCTIVITY

W ith the success of Kubota trac- tors worldwide and particularly in South Africa over the past few years in agriculture, one tends to forget how well Kubota has performed in small- er applications. One such example is Muldersdrift-based Random Harvest Indig- enous Nurseries whose owner, Linda De Luca, says that her fleet of Kubota’s has been “life-saving”. “I have had our Kubota tractors for about five months now and I use them to move product around the nursery, to pull orders, to remove rubbish and for a host of other daily tasks that must be done in the nursery environment,” says Linda. Linda owns two Kubota B2420 tractors and an L4100, which are very versatile and easy to operate. The B2420 features a fuel efficient 24hp Kubota ETVCS diesel engine making it the ideal tractor for smaller ap- plications. Like all Kubota tractors, operator comfort and easy operation is fundamental for improved operator productivity and the two independent lamps and the fully rubber covered operator deck on the B2420 are but two examples of this. The 41.6hp Kubota L4100 is also an ex- tremely popular choice in smaller applica- tion spaces.
