Ingredients

1, Place the milk into a Kilner ® Canning Pan and heat gently until the temperature reaches 180°F to 200°F or the milk starts to boil. Keep a close eye on the milk in case it boils over. 2, Once the milk reaches the required temperature, remove from the heat and allow to cool to around 110°F – 120°F. This can take around 30- 45 minutes. Stir the milk occasionally to prevent a film forming which could alter the texture of the yogurt. 3, Add in the starter yogurt and stir thoroughly. Transfer to Kilner ® Wide Mouth Jars and secure the lid in place. Your finished jars should be kept in a warm environment for between 4 - 8 hours or they can be left overnight. We recommend wrapping your jars in a blanket to create a warm atmosphere. The longer your yogurt sits the thicker and more tart it becomes. If this is your first time making yogurt we recommend that you check your yogurt after 4 hours. Avoid stirring the yogurt until it is fully set. 4, After your yogurt has set transfer Kilner ® Jars to the refrigerator until you are ready to use them. Finished yogurt can be stored in a refrigerator for 7 days. You can use your finished yogurt to create lots of delicious flavors, why not try adding sugar and lemon for a tangy lemon yogurt.
